s-go Consulting has finished the new Tioga County, NY Tourism site and it is now live! The site is built using Joomla and is the second rebuild by s-go Consulting. The first Joomla site was developed by s-go in February 2006. The new site includes an online store for purchasing local items!
The project included a migration of a Joomla 1.0.15 website to Joomla 1.5.13. More than 500 pieces of content were migrated along with upgrades of many plug-ins and components. The website redesign looks similar to the 2006 version but with a 1000 pixel width and much more interactive features. Streaming video and embedded Visitor's Guide flipping book. The most significant integration was moving the original Thyme calendar component and modules to a Joomla 1.5.x installation.
