Steve's first computer was an Apple II+ in 1979. He has been a tech junkie ever since. He started as a programmer/technician for a small automation & control company in Syracuse, New York where he wrote code and built (wire wrapped) interface cards by hand.
In 1982 Steve moved to Orlando, Florida and joined a chain of Computer Stores which sold Apple Computers and he helped usher in the Lisa/Mac/GUI era. He even sold 20+ Apple Lisa systems for more than $10,000 each! He was recruited by AT&T to join their new "computer division" shortly after divestiture in 1984. In 1988, Steve excitedly joined a desktop publishing service bureau and software start-up, Studiotronics in Winter Park, Florida. This firm developed and distributed one of the coolest Apple products in the late 80's, Colorset, which turned black & white (grayscale) image scanners into color scanners. This product and all of Studiotronics assets were acquired by Chinon America of Torrance, California in 1991. At this time Steve moved to Los Angeles as he was hired as National Sales Manager of this Japanese computer products manufacturer.
In 1993 Steve founded and built an amazing company/brand as CEO of Glyph Technologies in Ithaca, NY. Glyph was a pioneer in the audio/video recording industry providing optimized data storage solutions for digital audio and video workstations such as Digidesign/AVID. He left Glyph in November 2001 and went to work at Ground Zero in NYC for six months, assisting in the recovery/cleanup. In 2003, he started s-go Consulting part-time while looking for "good" employment opportunities. s-go officially became a full time company in April of 2005.
He has been an active part of the Mambo/Joomla community since 2003 and was a speaker at Joomla Day DC, 2010.
His entire career has been immersed in the tech industry with sales/marketing/executive leadership roles. He attended Herkimer County Coummity College from 1977-78 and majored in Marketing.
Steve is Married to his awesome wife Sandra and has five children and two grandchildren. He is very active in his church and community and love to ride his motorcycle.
